According to Mr. Hoang, on March 15, 2021, the Government issued Decree No. 20/2021/ND-CP stipulating social assistance policies for beneficiaries of social protection. It stipulates a number of objects to be taken care of and raised at social assistance establishments such as children, street beggars and other objects in urgent need of protection under the decision of the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee. , city.

Therefore, the Decision 02/2015 of the City People’s Committee is no longer consistent with the provisions of the new Decree of the Government.

“After completing the procedures in accordance with regulations on the annulment of this decision, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Da Nang City will issue a new decision to continue implementing the regulations on bringing street beggars into social protection establishments. in the area,” said Mr. Hoang.

According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang City, from 2015 to the end of 2021, to implement Decision No. 02/2015/QD-UBND of the People’s Committee of Da Nang City on regulations on bringing vagrants into protection facilities.
