Continuing the family tradition, on May 18, athlete Nguyen Thi Huong was honored to win the gold medal at the 31st SEA Games in Taekwondo in the 73kg category after defeating the Filipino athlete.
Sharing about his nephew, Coach Nguyen Van Hung said that since she was sitting at school, Huong had a good height and qualities, so her family oriented her to pursue Taekwondo.

In addition to participating in Taekwondo practice, Huong has graduated from Hong Duc University in sports pedagogy and is studying for a master’s degree in cultural management at Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
