A fire broke out this afternoon at Woochang Vietnam Garment Company (in Trang Nhat Industrial Park, Dien Thang Trung Commune, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province) causing thousands of workers to panic and flee.
According to initial information, around 1pm this afternoon (May 25), a fire broke out and spread very quickly at a garment factory belonging to Woochang Vietnam Garment Company.
A column of black smoke rose up, accompanied by a fierce fire, causing thousands of workers to panic and flee.

The Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department of Quang Nam Province’s Police has dispatched 3 fire engines, 1 special-use vehicle and 21 officers and soldiers in the northern region of Quang Nam to the scene to put out the fire.
In addition, the unit also provided reinforcements in the central area of the room, including 1 command vehicle, 2 fire engines and 20 soldiers participating in fire fighting and rescue.
The fire is currently under control. The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are under investigation and statistics.
