On May 27, news from Hai Lang Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Division of Quang Tri Province Police) said that the unit’s traffic police force is coordinating with authorities to control the fire of the tractor truck on Highway 1A passing through Hai Lang district. (Quang Tri).
Accordingly, at about 3:30 pm this afternoon (May 27), the truck carrying BKS: 88C – 063.62 (towing the trailer 88R – 004.22) was driven by driver Hoang Van Toi (residing in Yen Lac, Vinh Phuc province) Driving and transporting old cars on Highway 1A in the north-south direction. When the vehicle traveled to km 783 on National Highway 1A, passing through Hai Truong commune (Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province), it suddenly caught on fire from behind, a column of smoke flew high… under the witness and helpless of the driver.
Discovering the incident, Hai Lang Traffic Police Station and the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department of Fire and Rescue Police and fire trucks quickly arrived at the scene and participated in extinguishing the fire. However, due to the fierce fire, the trailers and old cars were all destroyed.
