A 7-seater car hit 10 motorbikes, injuring many people, the driver abandoned the car and fled

Late on May 5, the Thu Duc City Police (Ho Chi Minh City) and the TT-Thu Duc City Traffic Police Team and related units are still blocking the scene of a serious traffic collision at Kha Van intersection. Can-Duong Van Cam, Truong Tho ward damaged 1 car and 10 motorbikes, and 4 people were seriously injured.

According to initial information, around 19:45 on the same day, a 7-seat car BKS 51H-921.02 driven by a man about 40 years old circulated on Kha Van Can street, heading from Linh Xuan overpass to Thu Duc market.

When he arrived at the intersection of Kha Van Can – Duong Van Cam (bordering Linh Tay and Truong Tho wards, Thu Duc city), this man hugged a corner to enter Duong Van Cam street but suddenly ran through the opposite lane to drive goods. A series of vehicles are moving in the opposite direction.

10 motorbikes were pushed around by 7-seat cars, people on these motorbikes were thrown out and lying on the road, crying for help in pain.

Immediately after causing the accident, the driver of the 7-seater car abandoned the car and left the scene. People called the police, the medical staff then helped the medical staff to take the injured to the hospital for emergency, of which 4 were seriously injured.

The TT-Thu Duc City Traffic Police team was present at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate to clarify the cause. At the scene, the front of the 7-seat car was badly damaged, and the 4 damaged motorbikes were left on the scene. According to some people, 6 motorcycles after the incident suffered minor damage, so the drivers of these vehicles left the scene.

Thu Duc City police are extracting cameras at this intersection to clarify the cause and find the driver of the vehicle to bring to the headquarters for clarification.
