According to Sputnik news agency, Mykhailo Podolyak, Chief Advisor of the Office of the President of Ukraine said, fourth round of negotiations Between Ukraine and Russia will continue on March 16 (local time).
In a video speech published on the morning of March 16, Ukrainian President Zelensky said that the positions of Ukraine and Russia at the talks are taking a more realistic turn.
President Zelensky said:Negotiations are still going on. The positions of the two sides in the negotiations tend to be more realistic. However, more time is still needed to make decisions, in the interests of Ukraine“.
Earlier, on March 15, President Zelensky said it was time to admit that it would be difficult for the country to become a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The statement was made by Mr Zelensky while speaking at a meeting with leaders of the British-led Joint Expeditionary Force.

Ensuring Ukraine’s neutrality is also the goal of the Russian delegation before entering the fourth round of negotiations.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s goal is to achieve a meeting between President Zelensky and Russian President Putin.
Russia and Ukraine held three rounds of negotiations. The first round lasted 5 hours on February 28 at Gomel. The second round took place on March 3 at Belovezhskaya Pushcha and the third round on March 7 in Brest.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba also met face-to-face in Turkey on March 10, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
The fourth round of talks began on March 14, but was paused for “further work by the sub-groups and to clarify certain definitions”.
