Samsung’s “indestructible” phone revealed-Hi-tech fashion

SM-G736U may be marketed as Galaxy Xcover6 Pro instead of Galaxy Xcover Pro 2 as previously rumored.

Not long ago, the account owner @OnLeaks on Twitter posted a render image of the alleged Galaxy Xcover Pro 2 that Samsung coming soon. Even so, that may not be the official name of this ultra-durable phone.

Instead, the Galaxy Xcover Pro 2 will likely carry the real name Galaxy Xcover6 Pro. This is based on data coming from the Google Play Console, which lists a device with the name “xcoverpro2” but uses the marketing name Galaxy Xcover6 Pro.

Regardless of the name, Geekbench benchmark results show that Galaxy Xcover6 Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 778G chip. Besides, the device also comes with 6 GB RAM and that seems to be the only RAM configuration choice, at least based on data from the Google Play Console.

Previous renders show that Samsung’s indestructible Galaxy Xcover6 Pro will have a 6.56-inch screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels, achieving an aspect ratio of 20: 9. It is not surprising that this is an AMOLED panel.

Based on the rendered image, it also shows that the selfie camera is inserted into the screen and has some borders around to ensure the stability of the device. As is tradition, Samsung will provide a function button with a red accent on the side.

Galaxy Xcover6 Pro will be released with Android 12 and One UI 4.x. The product is expected to launch later this year, although the official date is still unclear. The model number for the Galaxy Xcover6 Pro is SM-G736U.
