Ferrari 296 GTB priced from 20 billion VND is about to open for sale in Vietnam

A representative of the distributor Ferrari in Vietnam said that the company’s latest hybrid supercar model “prancing horse” is about to be sold in Vietnam from the beginning of the third quarter. The Vietnamese market has 5 orders for Ferrari 296 GTB and all have owners.

Ferrari 296 GTB is the first 6-cylinder road supercar of the Italian company since Dino 246 GT was launched in 1974. Before that, the engine on Ferrari cars had 8 cylinders or more. The positioning car is below the F8 Tributo and is a rival of McLaren Arturathe model will also be sold in Vietnam by the end of 2022.

296 GTB is the next product using Ferrari’s hybrid engine, part of the electrification strategy. The vehicle, along with an electric EV model and the Purosangue SUV, are strategic products for Ferrari in the coming years.

The 296 GTB supercar has a distinctive Ferrari design that blends soft curves and muscular mass. The weight of Ferrari 296 GTB at 1,470 kg, 75 kg heavier than rival McLaren Artura.

The interior of the 296 GTB develops from the SF90 Stradale but has a minimalist design, focusing more on the driver. The cockpit is fitted with a flat-bottom steering wheel with integrated gearshift paddles and a rotary button to select the driving mode. On the dashboard is a screen displaying information about engine rpm, speed and current number.

The plug-in hybrid system complements the twin-turbo 2.9 V6 engine, with a total capacity of 819 hp and 740 Nm of torque. Supercar 296 GTB can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 2.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 330 km / h. The battery on this supercar model can help the car to move within a range of 25 km.

The distributor has not disclosed the specific price of Ferrari 296 GTB but said it is about 20 billion VND. Opponent McLaren Artura costs from 16 billion.
