Another shooting in the middle of a crowded street in the US, 17 people were injured

Local police received a report of the shooting late on the evening of June 4, when hundreds of people were walking on South Street.

Security forces immediately arrived at the scene and discovered many gunmen, including one who was opening fire on the crowd.

Police fired 3 shots to suppress, but did not arrest the suspect. At the scene, police recovered two guns, including one with an extra magazine.

At least 14 people were hit by bullets and were transported to three local hospitals, of which three died.

Eric Walsh, an employee of a nearby pub, said he heard gunshots at around 11:30 p.m. “People ran into the shop with bloodstains, bruised limbs. We had to hastily roll up napkins, soak them in water, and distribute them to everyone. It was a chaotic scene,” Walsh said.

The case is currently under investigation. Police said the first suspect was a woman.

The attack occurred as Philadelphia was still reeling from nine separate shootings that occurred from the night of June 3 to the early morning of June 4. At least eight people were injured in the shootings and a pregnant woman was killed.
