Thuy Tien said she was upset because this would make many people misunderstand that she came out from their contest, not from the contest of the Golden Lotus Company.
April 9, 2021, Miss Grand International has licensed the Golden Lotus Company to use the trademark of Miss Grand International – Miss International Peace (Trademark Registration Certificate No. 384154) and is allowed to organize the Miss Grand Vietnam – Miss Peace contest. Vietnam to select beauties eligible to represent Vietnam to participate in the Miss Grand International contest from 2022 to 2025.
In other words, the Miss Peace Vietnam contest organized by the Golden Lotus Company is the only and official contest in Vietnam within the framework of the Miss Grand International contest. But recently, this contest was stolen by another department with the name Miss Peace.
Before this noise, Thuy Tien officially spoke on her personal page. At the beginning, she wrote: “Let’s give justice to the contest that Tien is representing”.
The beauty born in 1998 said: “As you all know, Tien was crowned Miss Grand International – translated into Vietnamese and called by the Vietnamese audience by the name: Miss International Peace.
This is a beauty contest established in 2013 in Thailand and then copyrighted to many other countries around the world in search of girls representing the country to the contest.
First of all, there were many Vietnamese representatives licensed to participate in the contest officially under the title of Miss Grand Vietnam – Miss Peace Vietnam.
However, there was another unit claiming that the registration of the Golden Lotus Company’s name as Miss Peace Vietnam is infringing on the copyright of their contest’s name.
Thuy Tien also shared that: “Tien is really upset because this will cause many people to misunderstand that Tien came out of their contest, not from the contest in which the Golden Lotus Company as well as Sen Vang Entertainment hold the copyright.
Today, we also welcomed the MGI delegation back to Vietnam, which also means that the official language agrees to affirm the copyright of the contest in Vietnam. Tien hopes that the audience, who always love Tien and love the Miss Grand Vietnam – Miss Peace Vietnam contest will help Tien regain justice for the contest as soon as possible.
Present, Thuy Tien is very busy with many community projects and a series of workshops going to schools.
After the coronation, she went to many provinces across Vietnam as well as many countries around the world, performing many meaningful volunteer programs for the community.
