Experience of playing Disney World of people who go 500 times

Carly Caramanna is a freelance writer, born and raised in New Jersey, USA. She is known as an expert in the field of entertainment and dining at amusement parks. Carly started visiting Dinsey World (Florida) in the late 1980s. In 30 years, she has visited 500 times.

With the above achievement, Carly gets Insider called Disney World’s “super fan”. Here is her advice for travelers when visiting the “happiest place in the world”.

Carly recommends going to Wine Bar George at Disney Springs for a meal, as it’s one of the best restaurants on the campus. She praised the chef as a master of craftsmanship. Her favorite dishes are steak and burrata cheese. She is also impressed with more than 140 wines here.

Pirates of the Caribbean is the dark indoor amusement park that Carly first mentioned. “A Disney trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit. Pirates of the Caribbean is the quintessence of Disney and one of the last entertainment productions to be personally overseen by Walt Disney,” she said.

The next destination is Epcot’s Japan pavilion (Japanese themed pavilion). This is a place loved by many visitors with the latest imported Japanese sake, snacks, clothes, and toys. Behind the pavilion is a small exhibition celebrating the country’s culture, which Carly called “well worth seeing”.

Epcot started organizing festivals in the 1990s and now has four events happening year-round. Carly encourages people to visit Epcot during the festival because it’s “super fun” and delicious and unique food and drinks.

In addition, she also likes to hang out at the amusement park called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Carly is not a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise. But every time she goes to Hollywood Studios located in Disney World, she explores the area, even though once she doesn’t participate in any of the games.

The last thing she loves and usually does is when she sees famous cartoon characters in the park, they all stop to say hello. These characters are impersonated by the staff. From Carly’s point of view, these role-playing staff are all worthy of the respect and greetings of visitors because thanks to them, this place has become more perfect. “Be kind to them, and sometimes your kindness pays off,” Carly says.

Tarah Chieffi, another “super fan”, has also been going to the parks for 30 years. Carly revealed that instead of waiting in line, she often orders food with Disney characters. There will be 4-5 Disney cartoon characters (impersonated) walking around the dining room, and stopping at each table for guests to take photos and ask for autographs.

“Parades at DRAWThe Magic Kingdom starts at the back corner of Frontierland (between Splash Mountain and the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn). This is the place where you can see everything without having to jostle with the crowd because it’s where the parade begins,” she said.

Megan duBois has also been a VIP visitor to Disney World for 25 years. For her, the best experience is taking a selfie during each visit to the park to save the memories. She started taking pictures of “virtual living” with friends right from the first trip in front of famous symbols of the park such as Cinderella castle, Tree of life, Chinese theater…

Megan has always been in Tower of Terror (a thrilling game) at Hollywood Studios. She discovered a secret, that when the waiting time is 13 minutes, it means that there are not many people queuing to play, and you will be able to play without having to wait. This 13-minute rule also applies to her when playing Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom. And if you want to play Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom, get there early as the wait time for your turn is usually an hour.
