15-inch MacBook Air and 12-inch MacBook coming soon

According to a source from Bloomberg, Apple is planning to develop two new MacBook models, the 15-inch MacBook Air and the 12-inch MacBook. Accordingly, with the new MacBook Air, this machine will have a screen almost the same size as the current 16-inch MacBook Pro and will also be the largest-looking MacBook Air ever introduced by Apple. Currently, the newly launched MacBook Air M2 has a 13.6-inch screen thanks to thinner screen borders.

The 15-inch MacBook Air is expected to use the same design language as the Air M2, ie with thin bezels with a “rabbit ears” screen, the frame is designed with an even thickness. This Air will probably come with an upgraded version of the M2 chip with more powerful performance, more GPU cores, but will definitely fall in the segment below the MacBook Pro.

Besides, Apple is also developing a 12-inch MacBook version. Currently, the 12-inch line has been killed by Apple, but with the strong development of Apple Silicon chipset, it is completely possible to put an ARM chip with strong performance on the small screen MacBook.

Also according to sources from Bloomberg, the 15-inch MacBook Air will be introduced at the spring event in early 2023, while the 12-inch MacBook is likely to be released in late 2023 or early 2024.
