Previously, on March 11, the leader of Son Tay Town People’s Committee said that the unit was implementing a project to build a pedestrian street around the ancient Son Tay moat.
In the immediate future, the government will pilot 820 m from the old gate of the town’s People’s Committee headquarters (Pho Duc Chinh street) to Cua Tien bridge (Quang Trung – Nguyen Thai Hoc intersection) with a total length of 820m, total usable area. 34,550m2.
The operational scope of the pedestrian street includes: Pho Duc Chinh and Phan Chu Trinh (including the sidewalk on the side of the Citadel moat), the promenade outside the gate of Son Tay Ancient Citadel, the central flower garden, and 1/2 of the square. the school, the cultural center, the front yard of the cultural center and the town’s stadium square.
The operating time of this pedestrian street is from 7pm on Saturday to 12pm on Sunday every week.
