The Ministry of Health proposed to clarify

In an urgent document sent to the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Ngoc Khue – Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Administration, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment said that it had received a complaint about “Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital. Ho Chi Minh City asked the patient to go to a private hospital for surgery under the label of professional association”.

After reviewing, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment suggested that the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City urgently verify and clarify the above information and feedback, take measures to handle it in accordance with the law and Decree No. 117 /2020/ND-CP, if violated. At the same time, the Department urgently reports to the Ministry and publishes it on newspapers and radio stations. Results must be reported to the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment before March 24, 2022.

The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment also suggested that the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City continue to strengthen inspection, inspection, propaganda and education about the law for public and private medical examination and treatment facilities, to properly implement regulations of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, Decree 109, Decree 155 and related documents.
