The plane carrying 133 passengers crashed in China

A China Eastern Airlines plane departing from Kunming crashed in the Guangxi region and caused a fire in the mountains. According to CCTVthe plane that crashed was a Boeing 737. No casualties have been reported.

Newspaper China Daily The plane that crashed was China Eastern Airlines. The plane crashed in Teng county, colony of Wuzhou city, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. There are currently no reports of casualties in the accident.

China Radio International The initial information is that this is passenger flight MU5735 on its way from Kunming city, the capital of Yunnan province, to Guangzhou, with 133 people on board.

According to Global Times, Wuzhou Emergency Management Office said, sent a rescue team to the scene. According to Chinese media, flight number MU 5735 took off from Changshui International Airport, Kunming in Yunnan province at 13:15 (local time) and is expected to arrive in Guangzhou city of Guangdong province at 15:07.

Rescuers are on their way to the scene. China Eastern Airlines has not yet responded to a request for comment on the accident.

The plane in question belongs to China Eastern’s Yunnan subsidiary and has been in service for more than six and a half years. The aircraft was handed over in June 2015, with a total of 162 seats, including 12 business class seats and 150 economy class seats.
