This green snake is related to the most venomous snake in the world, the black Mamba snake (two-part nomenclature: Dendroaspis polylepis). The specific name of the green snake is the Green Mamba or the Eastern Green Mamba (scientific name: Dendroaspis angusticeps).

In contrast to the Black Mamba – the longest venomous snake in Africa (average from 2 m to 3 m and can be up to 4.3 – 4.5 m), the green Mamba snake is the smallest of all snakes. Mamba snakes with an average length of only 1.4 m.

But in terms of toxins, the green Mamba snake is also extremely famous because the poison includes both neurotoxin and cardiotoxin, causing the victim to die quickly due to poisoning. More dangerous, they often hang themselves on trees, especially in mango plantations, so they are difficult to detect.
