Ton Duc Thang University is ranked 142 in Asia – the highest position of Vietnamese universities in this ranking.
On the night of November 2nd, the Organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS AUR) announced the ranking of the best universities in Asia. Vietnam has 11 representatives, all of whom have appeared since last year, but the rankings are quite different. Of the 11 universities, 5 schools moved up the rankings, three remained in place and three dropped.
Ton Duc Thang University rose to the top, holding 142nd position with 33.4 points. For three years in a row, school real position improvementof 207 (in 2020) and 163 (2021).
Despite being beaten by Ton Duc Thang University, these two National Universities have proven their position as they have been among the top universities in Vietnam over the years. According to the 2022 Asian rankings, Hanoi National University ranked 147 (up 13 places compared to last year), Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam National University ranked 179 (down 21 places).
Duy Tan University significantly increased its ranking from the group of 351-400 in Asia (in 2021) to 210. Soon after, Hanoi University of Science and Technology also increased its ranking, from the group of 301-350 to 281-290.
Six schools are also close, including Hue University (ranked 401-450), Can Tho University, Danang University (both 501-550), Hanoi National University of Education, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (ranked 551). – 600), Ho Chi Minh City Industrial University (601-650).
