Admission to 27 schools with 4 million USD in scholarships

When Jonathan Walker, a senior at Rutherford High School in Panama City, Florida, started applying to college (November 2021 to January this year), he was truly bewildered. Jonathan tried to maximize his chances by applying to as many schools as possible.

Now I need to make another important decision that has been accepted by all 27 colleges and universities, including schools in the Ivy League group including Harvard University, Yale, Pennsylvania. I also won a total of 4 million USD in scholarships.

Jonathan, 18, said: ‘This is something that rarely happens, but it does happen, I’m very happy.

Jonathan earned a number of college credits through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. The male student said the essay helped him get acceptance letters from schools. According to Jonathan, every school has something special. I found something I love, tried to write about it, and performed well in my resumes.

Teachers at Rutherford School described Jonathan as an intelligent and hardworking student. In addition to his good academic record, Jonathan is also a member of the school’s football team. I also love inventions, once created a device to help the deaf and blind, which is in the process of being patented.

“I’ve always loved creating devices that support people and want to go further in this field,” says Jonathan, adding that his family is what motivates him every day.

My advice to students who want to be successful is: “Keep honing no matter what.” Jonathan has yet to make a final decision on which university to attend.

The male student plans to double major in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering, with the main goal of developing technology to help people with disabilities and disadvantaged communities.
