Vaccine passports will not be issued if the information is incorrect

According to the Ministry of Health, the issuance of Vietnam vaccine passports is only granted to those who have the correct information with the National Database on Population.

For false or unverifiable data due to missing or incorrect information, vaccination establishments must review, supplement and authenticate information with the National Population Database.

According to a report of the Ministry of Health, currently on the vaccination system, there are 207 million Covid-19 vaccine injections, on the vaccination system, there are 82.957,967 subjects and 198.674,948 injections. Currently, there are nearly 9 million injections that have not been entered into the system.

Worth mentioning, according to the Covid-19 Immunization Management platform, it has sent to the National Database of Population 82,299,012 objects corresponding to 196,725,301 injections. In which, the number of subjects with citizen identification information/people’s identity card (CCCD/CMTND) was 72,398,969 subjects, corresponding to 174,585,279 injections.

Number of subjects without CCCD/CMTND information or with incorrect CCCD/CMTND format: 9,900,043 subjects, corresponding to 22,140,022 injections.

The total number of subjects left unfinished: 658,955 subjects, corresponding to 1,949,647 injections.

Thus, for subjects whose CCCD/IDI information is incorrect or incomplete, does not match the information of the National Database on Population, the vaccine passport will not be issued.

What should I do if I have not been issued with a vaccine passport?

Regarding the signing of confirmation of electronic Covid-19 vaccine vaccination information – vaccine passport, according to information from the Information Technology Department, the Ministry of Health by the evening of April 15, the whole country had nearly 500,000 people. Thus, people only need to get vaccinated and provide complete and accurate information to the vaccination facility for accurate data.

Mr. Hung said that in the near future, if people look up on the electronic health book or PC-Covid but do not see that they have been issued a vaccine passport, it may be because their personal information is incorrect and does not match the facility. National population data, you can contact the vaccination facility to be supplemented, updated or reflected on the Covid-19 vaccination portal https://tiemchungcovid19.gov.vn.

In addition, people can call the switchboard of the Ministry of Health at 19009095 to reflect or advise on issues related to vaccine passports.

Regarding Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 5 – under 12 years old, the Ministry of Health has issued instructions and required establishments providing Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 5 – under 12 to update their identifiers. to connect, authenticate, and share with the national population database.

At the same time, vaccination facilities must digitally sign the same day to update the system, and the Department of Preventive Medicine will conduct a centralized digital signature to issue vaccine passports.

Children from 5 – under 12 years old will also be issued a vaccine passport like other subjects vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccine.
