But in October 2021, when he had to study online, when Thai assigned Trang to tutor him, Trang often scolded and beat A. with his hands and feet, wood, iron, plastic pipes, rattan whips…

According to the content of the camera (recovered by the police agency) recorded images in the previous days, Trang repeatedly abused and beat the baby and was witnessed by Thai but Thai did not intervene. Thai also admitted that he had witnessed his daughter being beaten by Trang many times, and Thai himself once hit her with a stick.

Thai knew that Trang used whips and sticks to hit her children many times, consecutively and hit them, causing injuries in some dangerous areas of the body, which could affect her daughter’s life, but Thai did not think about the consequences. still let Trang “teach” her children.

Particularly on December 22, baby A. was brutally abused for about 4 hours before dying. Thai said that day when he went to work, he did not witness Trang beating his child. When she got home, seeing her child fainting, Thai performed first-aid movements but felt that the child no longer had any reflexes, so she took her to the hospital.

While waiting for the emergency at the hospital, Trang told Thai about beating the baby VA. However, Thai did not report or denounce, but also went to the phone application to connect the camera in the apartment building, delete the camera data. .

According to the conclusion of forensic examination of the body of the Criminal Technical Division of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, grandchild A died from acute pulmonary edema due to traumatic shock.
