45 km from the center of Beijing city, Fangshan district attracts a large number of people to see flowers. In addition to the parks of hundreds of hectares, there are many gardens of people in the villages who also participate in tourism. In this season, peaches, pears, apples, plums are in full bloom, leaving behind noisy traffic and bustling life, many people choose to camp or drink tea under the canopy of flowers. Most of them are free, the households who grow trees only take advantage of selling food or agricultural products of the countryside.

Most of the visitors are city dwellers, because when the COVID-19 epidemic broke out, Beijing issued many strict regulations to limit people coming from other places such as the regulation on testing every day for people from abroad. It is with such regulations that most people are afraid to travel inter-provincially but only hang out locally.

For more than two years now, China has been almost closed to international visitors because of strict disease management policies. Even people are only granted passports to go abroad if absolutely necessary, the tourism industry mainly serves domestic tourists. For more than a month now, when the epidemic broke out in many localities, the Ministry of Tourism of this country advised travel companies to limit the implementation of inter-provincial tours, most people where traveling there.
