While bathing, all 6 children unfortunately tripped and fell into the deep water. 2 children were lucky to escape, while 4 children drowned in the lake.

According to the leader of Nghia Loc commune, after receiving the news, the functional forces organized a rescue operation. At 6 p.m. on the same day, the authorities found the bodies of four female students.

The four drowning victims were all in Thinh Hong and Tan Loc hamlets, Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district.
