Specifically, at 9:30 pm on April 14, the police of Yen Thinh ward (Yen Bai city, Yen Bai province) received information from the public about the fact that, at Tran Phu street (belonging to group 8, Yen Thinh ward). There was a fight that resulted in injury.

During the incident, there were several gunshots and injuries, the suspect then fled the scene.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Director of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department directed the functional forces to concentrate their forces to the maximum, and urgently organize investigation, verification and clarification of the case.

The initial investigation results determined that, due to a conflict with Tran Trieu Tuan (born in 1991, residing in Hong Ha ward, Yen Bai city), Bui Van Duc (born in 1985, residing in Tuy Loc commune, Yen Bai city, province) Yen Bai) made an appointment with Tuan to resolve.

Around 9:30 p.m. on the same day, Duc and a group of subjects: Dinh Manh Linh (born 1988, residing in Tuy Loc commune, Yen Bai city), Nguyen Hong Son (born 1998, hometown Thai Nguyen), Dang Van Dong (born 1988, hometown Nghe). An), Nguyen Van Trong (born in 1999, hometown of Thai Nguyen) and Hoang Ngoc Man (born in 1986, from Thai Nguyen) met Tuan in the area above and a scuffle broke out.

During the scuffle and fight, Hoang Ngoc Man used a shotgun to shoot several times at Tran Trieu Tuan, causing 7 injuries to Tuan. After committing the crime, all 6 subjects fled the scene.

Based on the investigation results, the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department directed the Yen Bai City Police Investigation Police Agency to issue a decision to prosecute the case of “Murder”, “Disturbing public order”.

Especially in the group of subjects, Hoang Ngoc Man was identified as a subject with suspicious signs of activities related to drugvery aggressive, always carrying 2 guns ready to fight the authorities.

On April 19, through the investigation, Yen Bai Provincial Police arrested Bui Van Duc and Nguyen Hong Son while the subjects were hiding in Hanoi. On April 28, the police mobilized Dinh Manh Linh to surrender.

According to the expert panel, the three groups of Man, Dong and Trong are continuing to hide in the southern provinces and are most likely trying to escape abroad.

On May 3, the Working Group of the Criminal Police Division of the Public Security of Yen Bai Province in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Division, the Criminal Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and the Dong Nai Provincial Police successfully arrested Man and Dong Nai. and Trong.

Police officers seized two handguns, more than 60 bullets and a white crystal package suspected to be drugs.
