Train accident in Austria, many casualties

One person was killed and about 10 injured when a train derailed in Muenchendorf, a southern suburb of the Austrian capital Vienna, May 9, 2022.
According to local officials, about 100 people were on the train when the accident happened during rush hour.
It is not clear what caused the two carriages to derail, one of which crashed into the embankment, while the other overturned into a field next to the track. Rescue crews were immediately deployed to the scene.
