How to make pork belly with lemongrass
The combination of pork belly with chopped lemongrass gives you a delicious, colorful dish that costs the whole family a lot of rice.

Material
- 500g pork belly
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 3 dried onions
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 6 lemongrass plants
- Cooking oil, pepper
Making
Step 1: Prepare ingredients
- Dried onions and garlic peeled, smashed, minced, put in a small bowl.
- Lemongrass root removed, washed then smashed and chopped.
- Soak the pork in salt water for about 10 minutes, rinse the meat once in water and drain. Then, cut the pork into thin slices or bite-sized pieces (about 1-2 cm thick).
Step 2: Marinate the meat
- Put the meat in a bowl, add garlic, dried onion, fish sauce, sugar and a little pepper.
- Mix the meat well and marinate at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3: Roast the meat
- Heat a pan over medium heat, add cooking oil.
- Put all the lemongrass in the pan, stir until the lemongrass is slightly yellow and fragrant, then remove to a plate.
- In the same pan, add a little oil to heat. Then, add the marinated meat and stir until the meat is almost cooked.
- Continue to add the lemongrass back to the pan and cook with the meat for about 5 minutes (reduce the heat to avoid burning the lemongrass) or until the meat has absorbed the spices and the lemongrass turns golden brown.
- Add fish sauce and sugar to taste.
- Serve the dish on a plate and enjoy with hot rice.
