VinFast’s 24/7 battery rescue service
Mobile Charging and Mobile Service are considered by VinFast as a piece that helps the company complete the electric vehicle ecosystem in Vietnam.
The 24/7 electric car battery rescue service (Mobile Charging) was deployed by VinFast in early May, to support users in case the battery runs out on the road but is not near the charging point. In the first phase, this service will support users in Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces within a radius of 100 km, from the gateway of the three cities.

VinFast’s rescue vehicles are integrated with a mobile charging system, helping to recharge the vehicle with a dead battery along the way. This service costs 300,000 VND for every 15 minutes of charging, this is the time it takes the car to travel about 30 km to the nearest charging point. This solution is being applied by VinFast with a 3-no policy (no depreciation costs, no financial costs and no profit).
“The public charging station system is widely covered, VinFast electric vehicle users with more rescue services will feel more secure when traveling long distances,” said Le Anh Dung, owner of VF e34 in Hanoi. “If the battery runs out in the middle of the road, the rescue service will support users on the spot. The company also informs electric vehicle users that it will deploy service requests through a smartphone application.”

Before deploying this service, VinFast supported users with Mobile Service mobile repair service. The company’s technicians will provide on-site service, perform basic maintenance without a lift, at no extra cost to the user. Currently, this service is being deployed in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Can Tho. A representative of VinFast said that in the future the company will expand the area applying this policy, including gasoline and electric cars.

To attract users, this company also implements a policy of exchanging old cars for new cars, giving users more incentives when changing to electric cars. For those who want to switch to VF e34, VF 8, VF 9, the old petrol car will be bought back by the company, giving users an additional 30 million VND.
