Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education revokes documents related to the former vice-chancellor
The Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education has just issued a document revoking Notice 07 about not assigning to perform the responsibilities, duties and authority of the Vice Rector for Dr. Truong Thi Hien.
The reason for the recall is under the direction of the Party Personnel Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training at the conclusion No. 07/KL/BCSD and Official Dispatch 1393 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training requested the Secretary of the Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education on behalf of the University Council to immediately sign the notice of revocation of Notice No. 07/TB-HDT dated March 16, 2021. under the direction of the Ministry and on the basis of the resolution of the School Council at the meeting on April 13, 2022, the deadline for completion is May 17, 2022. The person in charge of the school shall carry out the necessary procedures to restore the legitimate rights and interests of Dr. Truong Thi Hien, the deadline for completion is before May 30, 2022.
Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training had sent a document, requesting the University of Technology and Education of Ho Chi Minh City to revoke the notice No. 07/TB-HDT dated March 16, 2021 about not assigning to perform the duties. The duties and authority of the position of Vice-Principal for Dr. Truong Thi Hien are issued by the School Council… to restore the legitimate rights and interests of Dr. Truong Thi Hien in accordance with regulations. At the same time, report to the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City University-College Bloc to restore the member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education according to the Party’s regulations for Dr. Truong Thi Hien.
Ms. Truong Thi Hien was appointed by the Ministry of Education and Training to hold the position of Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education for the 2013-2018 term. The decision was signed by Mr. Pham Vu Luan, former Minister of Education and Training, on May 15, 2015. At that time, Ms. Hien was a master, Head of Financial Planning Department.
Currently, this request of the Ministry of Education and Training is controversial.
