The accident happened on May 16, Nguyen Trung Chinh (22 years old, residing in Tram Me 2 village, Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) went to his brother’s house next door to help build a house. While climbing onto the roof of a building under construction, Chinh unfortunately fell to the ground with a height of 6 meters.
Chinh is in critical condition because he fell from the house to the ground.
Chinh was brought to the emergency room by relatives in a state of heavy bleeding in his head and ears, gradually falling into a coma. Because of his severe injuries, the victim was quickly transferred to Hue Central Hospital for treatment.
In addition to the accident son, Mr. Nghia and his wife also took care of their 90-year-old mother, who had been lying in one place for many years.
“The doctor diagnosed my son with a traumatic brain injury and will need surgery. It is said that he is currently awake and in a coma, not sure if he will survive. My wife and I are in poor health, so we stay at home and wait for the situation. At the hospital, my child is taken care of by siblings in the family”, Mr. Nguyen Nghia (61 years old, Chinh’s father) shared absentmindedly.
Mr. Nghia’s family situation is difficult, the economy only depends on 2 sao of field. Due to poor health, he and his wife only raised chickens and pigs to earn money to cover their living expenses. 2 years ago, Mr. Chinh said he wanted to go to Taiwan to work abroad, hoping to find a stable job in a foreign country to make life less difficult. Despite difficulties, Mr. Nghia and his wife also tried to borrow money everywhere to create conditions for their son to fulfill his wish.
Anh Chinh was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury.
“Last year, I was going to go over there, but the epidemic had to come back. Then it had a traffic accident, it took a long time for treatment, it was expensive, my wife and I had to ask relatives to borrow money everywhere.
Just had a schedule to continue, but I continued to have an accident like this. This time, I heard that the baby is very heavy, affecting the brain again. I know how to save my child,” said Tran Thi Thanh (61 years old, Chinh’s mother) worriedly.
With no money to treat the child, Mr. Nghia and his wife were helpless to ask for help.
It is known that Mr. Chinh was hospitalized for treatment but was not entitled to any kind of insurance, the treatment costs were very high. Meanwhile, the family situation is very difficult. In addition to their son, who is in critical condition, Mr. Nghia and his wife have been taking care of their 90-year-old mother who has been lying in one place for 3 years now.
“Half a year ago Chinh was in a traffic accident, my wife and I had to borrow more than 100 million dong for treatment, so far we have not been able to pay any money, the mother’s interest is on the child’s interest. Praying for everyone’s love and help, save my son, give him a chance to live,” Mr. Nghia pleaded.
