Does the group of workers who have just returned to the market receive 2 or 3 months of support as in the case of working at the enterprise?

Will employees who have rented accommodation before the effective date of the decision (March 28) be resolved?

Within 2 days of receiving the funding, the enterprise must immediately pay the employees, but there is no time limit for settlement. This can lead to businesses keeping money, delaying payments. At the same time, this decision does not mention the handling of violations if the employer is slow to pay the employee.

Before that, at the end of March, the Government issued Decision 08 on the implementation of a policy to support about VND 6,600 billion in rent for 3.4 million workers. Ho Chi Minh City is the locality with the largest number of supported people, nearly 1.2 million people, with an estimated budget of about 2,000 billion VND. Although the number of workers needing support is very large, nearly two months ago, the dossiers sent back for approval were still few.

As of yesterday afternoon (May 23), Dynamic Social Insurance, Invalids and Social Affairs confirmed for more than 21,000 cases from 1,855 units that submitted applications.
