Re-appointed Mr. Dao Minh Tu as Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam

Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu was born in 1964, has a doctorate in economics. Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu has about 30 years of experience in the banking industry.

Before being appointed as Deputy Governor of the State Bank, Mr. Dao Minh Tu used to hold the position of Chief of Office of the State Bank of Vietnam; Head of the Secretariat of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council; Director of the Emulation and Commendation Department.

Mr. Tu was first appointed to the position of Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam in May 2012 and was re-appointed to hold the position of Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam in May 2017.

Besides Mr. Tu, the State Bank currently has 4 other Deputy Governors: Mr. Nguyen Kim Anh; Mr. Doan Thai Son; Mr. Pham Tien Dung; Mr. Pham Thanh Ha. The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam is Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong.
