Regarding the number of deaths, according to data from the Ministry of Health, Hanoi has a total of 42 deaths, a sharp decrease compared to the previous weeks. Currently, Hanoi has reopened most of its business activities, services, pedestrian streets… only karaoke, massage, bars… have not been operated yet.

The City People’s Committee also requested the Department of Education and Training to soon have specific instructions so that districts, towns, based on the number of cases to proactively decide on appropriate direct teaching for students from grades 7-12. new situation.

Regarding vaccination, by the end of March 19, Hanoi had 81.3% of people aged 18 and over who had received a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. In addition, nearly 100% of people who needed additional shots were vaccinated.
