According to the Hanoi Department of Health, in the past week (March 14-20), Hanoi is still the leading locality in the country in terms of the number of cases. COVID-19 with a total of 169,786 cases, however, the number of infections in the day has decreased continuously for 7 days.

Regarding the number of deaths, according to data from the Ministry of Health, Hanoi has a total of 42 deaths, a sharp decrease compared to the previous weeks. Regarding vaccination, by the end of March 19, Hanoi had 81.3% of people aged 18 and over who had received a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. In addition, nearly 100% of people who needed additional shots were vaccinated.
