Arresting a man whose wife mutilated his penis in Son La
The man whose wife cut his penis was suspected of having played a depraved game and raped his wife’s stepdaughter for a long time.
On March 28, the police investigation agency of Yen Chau district (Son La province) said that it had just prosecuted the accused and detained Nguyen Van Hoan (SN 1993), residing in Chieng Hac commune, Yen Chau district to investigate about the crime. Crime of “Rape of a person from full 13 years old to under 16 years old” according to article 144, Penal Code.
Specifically, subject Nguyen Van Hoan repeatedly raped HTRL’s nephew (SN 2007), the stepchild of Ha Thi N (36 years old, Hoan’s wife) during the period from August 26, 2020. until March 19, 2022.
According to the case file, around August 2020, because of wanting to have sex with HTRL’s nephew, Hoan created a facebook account named “Hoang Long” to talk and flirt with L via social networks.

After a few conversations, Hoan suggested that L take photos and videos of some sensitive parts of the body to send through the account “Hoang Long”, then Hoan saved to the phone.
Then, Hoan used her main facebook to send sensitive photos and videos to L’s facebook account, threatening to post them on social networks to force L to have sex with her. Due to fear of sensitive images being spread, L agreed.
From August 26, 2020 to March 19, 2022, Hoan repeatedly used those sensitive videos and photos to force L to let him have sex while N was away from home.
Recently, Ms. N often lost money, so on the morning of March 19, she installed a camera at the bedside to find the culprit. At 14:00 on the same day, Ms. N went home to take out the memory card in the camera and found a video of her husband committing depraved acts with his daughter in her bed.
Annoyed, on the night of March 19, Ms. N used a knife to cut her husband’s penis, then went to the authorities to confess. Nguyen Van Hoan was taken to the emergency room at Son La Provincial General Hospital.
During the initial investigation, the police agency had enough evidence to prove Nguyen Van Hoan’s criminal behavior. After the subject was discharged from the hospital, Yen Chau district police issued an arrest warrant for Hoan to consolidate the file and handle it according to regulations.
