For the project of Vinh Trung Mountain River Villa on Chin Khuc Mountain, with 19ha of Chin Khuc Mountain, Khanh Hoa Company is also an investor. In August 2012, Mr. Le Duc Vinh, when he was still Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, signed a decision allowing businesses to change the use purpose of 196,194 m2 from production forest land to residential land and land for public purposes. project.

Mr. Vinh signed decisions on land allocation in violation of the law on land management and land allocation without determining the amount of land use levy or land allocation in the field before the investor fulfills financial obligations; land allocation or change of land use purpose in violation of land use master plans and plans. By 2019, this project was stopped, the investor was forced to replant trees and deal with the cleared gaps. Khanh Hoa Company then returned 370ha of land for regeneration and restoration of the forest environment.

Regarding the violations at Nine Khuc Mountain, in mid-2021, two former provincial presidents and five former leaders were prosecuted and detained.
