Each stock has the same name as a vaccine and antiviral drug that is popular in the world.

Working as a teacher, but having been on vacation from home for nearly a year now, this teacher has poured nearly 500 million dong to invest for many years.

“It has many roles, someone called me to open an account, someone said it was a risk prevention party,” the victim said.

Another victim said: “It’s all over the phone, no face-to-face meetings. They put in the zoom many people like financial experts, bank staff, room staff and even housewives”.

Participation is very simple, players just need to deposit money into the account on the website specified by the objects and participate in placing “buy – sell” orders, if won, double, triple the amount. If you refer new people, you will be paid a direct commission of up to 20%.

Similarly, another application called beibeishou.com is also calling for participants to buy and sell COVID-19 vaccine shares. The amount of investment offered is not large, only 100,000 – 200,000 VND, but the profit received is very high, up to 25 – 30%. Those who do not invest but just need to take attendance will also be paid from 5,000 – 10,000 VND / turn.

“Because everyone thinks that vaccines are very scarce, the chances of making a profit will be very high. If the investment is not fast, the opportunity will be lost. I decided to invest more than 100 million dong,” one participant said.

However, according to the technology story, the above websites have many unusual signs because the source code of the applications is of unknown origin, even containing malicious code, bought floating on the market. Therefore, participants will face the risk of losing money, or having their personal information stolen.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc – CEO, CyRadar Information Security Company said: “In fact, in terms of technology, these websites and apps are all manipulated by the website’s creators”.

“There is no stranger who is willing to introduce us to an interest rate of tens, hundreds of percent in a short time while the subject does not invest but introduces us to a very strange person. People are very vigilant,” warned Senior Colonel Le Van Dinh – Deputy Head of Division 8, Criminal Police Department, Ministry of Public Security.

According to statistics from the authorities, from the beginning of the year until now, 5.4 million malicious domain names and fraudulent applications have been detected in Vietnam’s cyberspace. Where domains are associated with models financial investment received huge profits, with signs of fraud accounting for about one third, an increase of 20% over the same period last year.
