The little otter has the guts to attack the crocodile

The encounter was recorded by Iain McDonald in Kafue National Park, Zambia.

McDonald said he was making tea at the Ma Yukuyuku campsite in the park when he heard a crocodile growl across the river.

The swamp killer is now dealing with a small crocodile.

In the video that McDonald’s posted, the otter takes advantage of its small body to attack the crocodile.

The crocodile kept shaking, changing the direction of the attack, but the otter still easily dodged the responses from the large enemy.

McDonald said he was surprised when he saw the small otter attack the swamp killer. “The otter seemed to be very mischievous. It attacked the crocodile’s tail and avoided the sharp teeth.” McDonald said.

However, according to McDonald, the otters do this apparently to protect their young, to scare away predators.

After the encounter, the otter left before moving into the bush. The crocodile stayed longer and then returned to the river.

Otters have long been known to be very intelligent creatures. They know how to use their observations and come up with methods to deal with specific situations. This breed often avoids unnecessary conflicts.
