Faced with dangerous pressure from deep pits, the People’s Committee of Phu Cat district and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment asked for advice from leaders of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee to overcome the consequences of the pits left behind by “robbers”.

If the ground is compacted, there will be no subsidence at this point,” said Mr. Hien.

Minimizing the leakage of stone powder out

Vice Chairman of Cat Nhon Commune People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tuan said that for many years, people were afraid of the dangers from these deep holes, so they wanted quick leveling to return to normal life.

“Three holes in Chanh Nhon have not been leveled, here there is a slope, if leveling from the inside out, it is very difficult, because the water flows towards the downstream area, which will affect people. In the plan also stated very clearly, suggest that the company build a dike, minimizing the leakage of powdered water to the outside”, Mr. Tuan said.
