In 2021, Vietnam’s digital economy will be worth 21 billion USD

The information was given at the “Vietnam – Asia Digital Transformation Summit 2022” which opened this morning (May 25) in Hanoi. According to the speakers, the key to development digital economy Vietnam needs the synergies of all levels and economic sectors.

Currently, Vietnam’s resources are not lacking but are being fragmented. The synergies between ministries, localities and businesses will create open and transparent policies, appropriate and optimal digital ecosystems for Vietnamese agencies and organizations.

In particular, building a national database such as: Population data, business data, financial data, land data… is an extremely important resource for developing the digital economy.
