3 female students in grade 6 drowned after inviting each other to the stream to play,

On the morning of June 5, a leader of Chu Van An Secondary School (Ea H’leo district, Dak Lak province) said that teachers and students were going to the house of three drowned sixth graders to visit, encourage and share share with family. “This is a very heartbreaking incident. We are also making a report to our superiors” – this person said.

According to initial information, on June 4, students from MCT, NTBH and TTKA (both girls in grade 6, Chu Van An Secondary School) attended the closing ceremony of the school year. At noon the same day, the children went home and invited each other to the Ot stream area (in village 5, Ea H’leo commune, Ea H’leo district) to play.

At this time, the children unfortunately slipped and fell into the deep water, killing all 3.

Discovering the incident, people picked up and brought the bodies of the children ashore and handed them over to their families for burial.

According to statistics, from the beginning of 2022 until now, in Dak Lak province, there have been many cases of drowning, killing 28 students.
