Many businesses operate effectively in the first quarter of 2022

This shows that businesses are on the way to recovering and is also a positive signal that the production and business situation of many businesses will continue to be brighter in the second quarter.

According to data from the General Statistics Office, industrial production in the first quarter of 2022 continued to prosper with the value of the whole industry increasing by 7% over the same period last year. In particular, the recovery of domestic demand and the resumption of international trade are the driving forces for many enterprises to enter and re-enter the manufacturing sector.

Regarding the forecast for the second quarter of 2022, 82% of enterprises believe that the business situation will be better and keep stable. 85% of businesses forecast export order increase and stay the same. According to experts, this optimistic business outlook of the enterprise is completely grounded.

“The National Assembly has agreed to increase overtime hours for employees, then businesses can relieve the pressure on backlog orders a lot. The reduction of environmental tax with Petroleum helped reduce cost pressure on businesses. Solutions on the business environment are also being promoted very strongly,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thao – Head of the Business Environment and Competitiveness Department, Central Institute for Economic Management.

In addition, the Government’s efforts to stabilize the macro-economy and ensure inflation also create favorable conditions for businesses to operate effectively in the coming time.
