Kia Morning has more cheap version in Vietnam
Many Thaco dealers have posted information about the opening and sale of 2 new versions of Kia Morning cars, AT and Premium. Before that, the new generation Morning only had 2 versions: GT-Line and X-Line.
Although there is no information on Kia Vietnam’s sales website, Thaco confirmed that this version has been opened for sale.
AT version is sold for 389 million VND, Premium is 409 million VND. This price is more accessible than the VND 439 million figure of GT-Line and X-Line.
Compared with GT-Line and X-Line, the two new versions have been omitted quite a lot of equipment to have a more competitive price, such as halogen lights without spherical mirrors, no daytime positioning lights, and no roof rack. (AT version)…
The cockpit of Morning AT and Premium is still equipped with an 8-inch central entertainment screen as well as a push-button start system. The lowest version is the AT with only mechanical air conditioning, a plastic steering wheel and removal of the front seat armrests.
Both new versions are equipped with a 1.25L, 4-cylinder engine, producing 83 horsepower and maximum torque of 120 Nm. Kia Vietnam continues to use 4-speed automatic transmission for Morning AT and Premium.

The introduction of the new version will more or less help Kia Morning’s sales prosper, this A-class car is no longer strong enough to compete with Hyundai Grand i10 or VinFast Fadil in sales. In March, Thaco delivered to customers 653 Kia Morning units, while rival Hyundai Grand i10 was 1,112 units and VinFast Fadil was 2,567 units.
