The new generation Avanza and Veloz are two “blockbuster” MPV models that are expected to be released on March 22 under the names Avanza Premio and Veloz Cross. After Veloz Cross revealed many photos taken at internal events to prepare for the launch date, so far the Avanza Premio has also appeared in dealer warehouses, promising a delivery date not far off.

The revealed car belongs to the G version with automatic transmission, most likely a high-end version. Previously, according to information disclosed from the dealer, the Avanza Premio will likely have 2 versions: manual and automatic.
This Avanza Premio has a very different design from the previous generation. The G version was revealed with an LED lighting system, LED taillights, 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels (1 inch smaller than the Veloz Cross). The lower front grille is also a differentiating point from its Veloz Cross sibling.
The size of this model is also significantly increased compared to the old model. Leaked information shows that the length x width x height are 4,395 x 1,730 x 1,700 mm respectively, while the wheelbase is 2,750 mm.
Avanza Premio is much bigger than the previous generation.
The interior of the car looks a bit simpler than the Veloz Cross but is still more modern than the old one. 3-spoke steering wheel with integrated function keys, 8 inch central entertainment screen, color TFT display with multi-information display in instrument cluster, blasting buttons are essential equipment. Positioned lower than the Veloz Cross, this car only has felt seats and mechanical air conditioning, with a 4-speaker sound system, but the AC controls are quite modern in design.
The engine on the New Avanza Premio is a 1.5-liter engine similar to the one in the Veloz Cross, with a capacity of 105 hp and 137 Nm of torque, combined with a stepless CVT transmission and a front-wheel drive system.
In terms of safety technology, the Avanza Premio promises to add a blind spot warning and 6 airbags in the high-end version. This model will not have Toyota Safety Sense like the Veloz Cross.
According to information from the agency, the imported Avanza Premio will be priced from around VND 550 million to VND 615 million. This price is relatively competitive with competitors such as the Suzuki XL7 or Mitsubishi Xpander.
