As confirmed by several service providers Internet In Vietnam, the signal via the AAG submarine fiber optic cable has been fully restored since March 13. Thus, after 5 months of trouble (since October 2021), AAG fiber optic cable is officially back to serve Internet users.
Previously, APG and IA cable lines also experienced problems during the AAG cable fault period, which affected users’ international Internet experience in Vietnam to some extent. However, APG and IA cables will soon be restored starting late February 2022.
With the three important submarine fiber optic cables mentioned above stabilizing again – especially AAG, Internet users in Vietnam have been able to access international services more smoothly.
However, the “broken fiber optic cable” may still be an obsession for internet users, because many times the cable that was just repaired not long afterward lost the signal, causing internet service providers to direct transmissions in various directions.
