Can humans be “extraterrestrial beings”, from distant planets?-Information Technology

A new discovery has led scientists to think that perhaps humans like us may be “beings from space”, because life on Earth may have come from a distant planet. So that means there must be other “humans” somewhere?

For the first time, the chemical “building blocks” of DNA (molecules that carry genetic information) have been found in meteorites that hit Earth many years ago.

This means that the seed of life may have been brought to Earth from somewhere in the universe, and this also means that somewhere very, very far away, there could also be humans living. and develop.

In fact, for centuries, scientists have wondered where the “building blocks” of life on Earth come from. And now they have evidence to support the theory that they come from meteorites.

Could humans be

The research team of Hokkaido University (Japan) has found the compounds necessary to form DNA and RNA (ribonucleic acid) on 3 different meteorites, which crashed into Earth in 1950 (Murray meteorite), 1969 ( the Murchison meteorite) and 2000 (the Lake Tagish meteorite).

In the new study, the scientists analyzed the three meteorites using state-of-the-art technology and found that they contained cytosine and thymine. These are 2 of 5 main types of compounds for storing and communicating genetic information in cells. Previous studies have found three of the five compounds mentioned above in meteorites, but this is the first time that scientists have found the other two types, cytosine and thymine.

“These compounds have concentrations similar to those predicted by experiments that reproduce the conditions before the Solar System formed,” the researchers say.

The discovery suggests that the chemical building blocks of DNA may have been “transferred” to Earth on asteroids, meteorites or interplanetary dust particles as far back as 4 billion years ago, when the Earth was ” attacked” by many “debris” from space, according to professor Yasuhiro Oba of Hokkaido University.

Previously, a study by NASA (US Space Agency) also suggested that life could be brought to Earth from somewhere far away in the universe.

“We believe this is a very exciting discovery that will help expand our understanding of how life began,” Oba added.
