The shares of the 3rd richest person’s bank on the exchange suddenly hit the ceiling, becoming the most profitable bank in March
In the morning trading session of March 14, banking stocks fell mostly. Among the 27 codes listed, there are 18 discount codes.
In particular, KienlongBank’s banking stock suddenly bucked the general trend, even reaching highs. KLB KienlongBank is currently trading on UPCoM with a 15% margin, so the share price has increased from VND30,000 to VND34,500 today.
With a sudden rise in the March 14 session, KLB suddenly became the bank with the strongest increase in market capitalization in March 2022. Statistics show that KienlongBank’s market capitalization has increased by 2.747 billion VND (+28%). Second place is SeABank, up 2.739 billion VND (+4.66%)
Two other banks with increased capitalization in March were Saigonbank (VND 31 billion) and Eximbank (VND 2,090 billion).
While the remaining 23 banks all reduced their capitalization. Of which, the biggest declines were BIDV and MB (over 10,000 billion VND), VPBank (9,335 billion VND).
Kienlongbank recently announced that it will hold an annual general meeting of shareholders in April 2022. Different from previous years, this year KienlongBank held a shareholders’ meeting in 16 Pham Hung building, Hanoi. This is where the Sunshine Group is headquartered.
Many Sunshine Group leaders have now joined KienlongBank, such as President Tran Thi Thu Hang, former General Director of Sunshine Group, Deputy General Director Do Anh Tuan, Chairman of Sunshine Group.
Tuan Do Anh Tuan is currently the 3rd richest person on the Vietnam stock exchange, with a fortune of 43,336 billion VND. Tuan Tuan owns nearly 18 million shares of KienlongBank.
