Corruption is only ‘clean’ when it is not revealed

Just on March 23, the Standing Board of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to review and discipline Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC) for violations in the bidding for buying and selling kits. Viet A.

Speaking of Mr. Dinh, who previously held the position of Director of the Nghe An CDC, everyone knows about his famous quote about purity.

Remember this man, before being arrested, asserted in his reply to PV VietNamNet that he was clean. But not long after, the Ministry of Public Security worked with the Nghe An CDC, including Mr. Dinh, the truth was gradually exposed, the anecdote “sir, it has not been revealed and is about to be revealed” was mentioned again.

“Gentlemen have not been exposed”… is a funny saying about cadres who are only clean when they have not been exposed. And with the specific case of Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh, too, he was only clean when the police had not been involved.

Remember, before the information about spending money outside the contract for CDC centers and medical facilities depending on the order as well as the “commission” from Viet A Company, Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh was decisive. column: “I confirm that I have never received any money from Viet A. The CDC is reviewing internally to see if there are any problems for investigation.”

But his hand could not cover the sun, or like the saying “heavenly net”, after a few eloquent statements, he and some associates at CDC Nghe An were prosecuted and arrested by the investigative agency. And on March 23, another form of discipline against Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh when he was expelled from the Party by the Standing Party Committee of Nghe An province.

When it comes to cadres, it is always important to respect both virtue and talent, in which virtue is the root, but the root of virtue is integrity, ie must be clean and upright. Integrity is not even in sayings, in beautiful words, but in purity of heart, from cultivation, training, and bravery to avoid temptation, to fight against the roadside bullets.

In fact, the people understand very well who is the public servant of the people. They do not believe in empty words or promises. In fact, only those who bring real benefits to the people, are close to the people, are honest, talk together with actions, always cultivate and practice, wholeheartedly for the people and for the country, will have support, have gain the trust of the people.

Why have some newly elected officials and leaders recently been disciplined, even imprisoned?, including the case of public opinion, but still the story: “Dear You have not been exposed.”

Still on the Viet A case, on February 19, the TT-Hue Provincial Police Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and detained Mr. Hoang Van Duc, director of the provincial CDC, for 4 months. TT-Hue and Mr. Ha Thuc Nhat, Chief Accountant cum Head of Finance and Accounting Department of CDC TT-Hue province.

Duc and Nhat were arrested to investigate violations related to the procurement of medical supplies and equipment, causing damage to state property.

Before that, the case of Mr. Hoang Van Duc could also be classified into the group: “Gentlemen, it has not been revealed”. Remember, when he was not arrested, Mr. Duc confirmed that he did not receive “commission” money from the contract of buying and selling test kits with Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company. He also affirmed that even the unit that contracted with Viet A Company to purchase anti-epidemic equipment was implemented transparently and did not violate regulations.

“I did not receive a single penny from Viet A Company. Viet A company gives me even a cup of coffee, I deserve to go to prison,” Mr. Duc once affirmed firmly.

The story of some CDC directors in the Viet A case is just a typical example of the fact “You guys have not been exposed”.

There may be and still are “Unrevealed Gentlemen” stories here and there until they undeniably admit their guilt. Even repent, repent before the horseshoe.

But “for those who have not been exposed”, don’t look down on public opinion, don’t expect to hide the truth forever.
