Owning a land fund of 10,600ha, Novaland sets a profit target of VND 6,500 billion in 2022
On April 19, the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Nova Real Estate Investment Group Joint Stock Company (Novaland) took place. At the congress, Novaland reported its operations in 2021 as well as approved many plans for 2022.
At the end of 2021, Novaland’s financial statements recorded consolidated revenue from sales and collection of service fees reaching nearly VND 14.97 trillion, up nearly 186% over the same period in 2020; The Group’s profit after tax reached nearly VND 3.45 trillion with a net profit margin of 23%. As of December 31, 2021, the Group’s total assets increased by nearly 40% compared to the end of 2020, reaching VND 201.83 trillion. Equity increased by nearly 30% to 41.17 trillion dong.
In terms of mobilizing investment capital, Novaland continues to affirm its reputation through successfully mobilizing many domestic and international capital sources, most notably the successful issuance of USD 300 million of international convertible bonds, listed listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Regarding land fund, as of December 31, 2021, Novaland has increased its land fund owned and studied to nearly 10,600 hectares, an increase of 115.7% compared to 2020.
For the 2022 plan, Novaland presented at the General Meeting the plan of revenue of nearly VND 36,000 billion and profit after tax of VND 6,500 billion (up 141% and 88% respectively compared to 2021). It is expected that the driving force for revenue growth will come from the handover of large projects such as Aqua City, NovaWorld Phan Thiet, NovaWorld Ho Tram (Wonderland, The Tropicana) and project clusters in Ho Chi Minh City.
Novaland’s representative said that the Group clearly determines that the focus in 2022 is to continue its development advantages, shorten the time to implement the Phase 2 strategy combined with entering Phase 3 – developing megacities and destinations travel. At the same time, on land banks ready to put on the market, in 2022, Novaland will introduce about 15,000 products. In which, 80% of product reserves come from 03 key projects being implemented, namely Aqua City, NovaWorld Ho Tram, NovaWorld Phan Thiet; and 20% will be from some new projects. In the coming time, Novaland plans to study and implement a number of new projects, including:
– HCMC: Grand Sentosa project in Saigon South area. – Ba Ria – Vung Tau: NovaWorld Ho Tram will continue to launch a new phase Long Island about 30 hectares.
– Binh Thuan: is expected to announce the second NovaWorld-branded project with a scale of 700 hectares in Mui Ne area.
– Lam Dong: expected to launch NovaWorld Da Lat with a total scale of 1,000 hectares.
– Khanh Hoa: It is expected to introduce NovaWorld Nha Trang with more than 600 hectares adjacent to Tran Phu street.
