China blocks almost all of Shanghai

The area west of the Huangpu River began a blockade, while many counties in the eastern region were expected to end the blockade early this morning, but were ordered to extend it by 3 to 10 days.

Specifically, anyone living in a building with one case of F0 will have to stay at home for an additional 10 days, people living in other buildings in the same residential area will be isolated for an additional 3 days. Meanwhile, in the western half of the Huangpu River, during the blockade, about 16 million people in this area will be tested for COVID-19. People will not be allowed to leave their homes and surrounding areas for 4 days, and essential items and food will be delivered to the place.

It is expected that the blockade order in this area will last until the morning of April 5.
